So, Sony announced at IFA that a firmware update will come out for the PS3 that would bring 3D Blu-ray support. It seems like it was originally set to release this month, but it has been pushed back but they happened to mention that they would release a 3D Alice in Wonderland and Michael Jackson's This Is It bundle for the PS3. O_O
What do you guys think?

Not enough 3D capable devices out there. I'm not running out to get a 3D tv. no one else is either. Many people still haven't made the switch to 1080p.

the most recent ps3 game i own is either burnout paradise or the god of war collection, which has the remastered 1 and 2 on it, not 3. i say, yawn. i'll skip 3D and take piracy :)

I totally agree. I think this will prompt more 3D competition and devices.
