You can delete it once you stop playing, but you install it back when you play again. Your saved data for the game is small right?

Idk, I got a 40GB with about 16 GB free. I've installed maybe 18 games? with saves and what not. A few videos, demos and a downloaded game. And some music.

Well thats kewl, maybe I did something that I shouldn't have

But yeah also, I have pics on my SD card, they're on the root of the card and when I stick it in the PS3 it says I have to pics

Do I have to activate something in order to see those pics?

Just mess with it some more, I forget what you press. Try triangle and and see if it has an option to look at the pics. Click on the SD device option or w/e it is.

You might have to stick the picks under a directory called "PHOTO" or something like that on the root in order to see them.

If you havent noticed yet, when you on your ps3 the very first day you got it, theres 10 gigs of space of your ps3's hdd being used for back up storage so don't be mistaken when you delete all your files and see that your ps3 is 10 gigs less of free space from your 80 or 74 gig hdd.

One sec, I'm free so I'll try to do it again. I used it for a slide show a month ago but I forget what I pressed.

Alright whatcha do is just stick the card in there, and go over to the images section on the PS3.
Go to the memory stick option and press triangle. Then choose the "Display All" option.
From there you can copy them to the PS3 or w/e.

Weird. Well I used a USB drive, I threw a few images, PNG/BMP format and they show up.

Try renaming the folder to PICTURE instead.

Why dont you try putting it on a psp mem stick instead. Had the same problem like you but all I did was format my SD card then put it in the right folders to transfer it straight to the ps3.
