AgenaWorld Version 1.7 (for Sony PSP)
-------------------------------------

News
--------
This version works on PSP Slim and PSP Fat. It also
supports TV out (on PSP Slim only).

Just run the program under PSP Slim and follow the instructions on
the screen to choose resolutions.

This is for the neoflash competition. Basically, you start at Earth,
and look at your radar for the purple marker and go there and press
triangle button. You should be now at another map. Try visiting
different galaxies by following the purple markers (in the radar)

Storyline:
----------

In the near future, you captain a spaceship with extra-ordinary
technology. Powered by nuclear fusion and fission generators and
supported by ion micro-thrusters and gyroscopes, your ship can
support long-term journeys. After a long travel in hybernation
across the deep space, you come across the Juniper Belt and
discover a mysterious asteroid surrounded by many "hypercubes".
They are alien in origination, but one thing is known, when
your ship touches one of the cubes, a gravitation assist field
is generated around your ship. Firing an EMP afterwards, activates
the field and your ship is slingshot at great velocity towards
a destination pre-allocated by the respective cube touched.
It is year 2492, the year that all nine planets are lined up
end to end from the sun to pluto. With the help of the cubes, you
are able to travel to distant galaxies, nebulas, and even all
nine planets in the solar system, overcoming the laws of relativity.

AgenaWorld is a classic space shooting game similar to (and a little aiming
towards) the "Homeworld" PC game, but has its own unique features.
Press RTRIGGER Button in game to see mission objective. Supports
multiplayer (PSP to PSP) via infrared. See below for more details.

Installation Guide
------------------
This is a homebrew program for the Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable).
It runs on a PSP Slim and PSP Fat (latest custom firmware).
Note that this game takes up a lot of megabytes when uncompressed.
It is recommended at least 128MB Memory Sticks or larger be used.

Copy everything inside directory "Agenaworld" from agenaworld17.rar to
your memory stick's "/psp/game/" directory.

Make sure that the game directory you put it in is set to run
the latest custom firmware (if you want to try it on PSP Slim).

Adding your own songs
---------------------

It is possible to have your own music playing in the background
instead of the default Agenaworld songs. You just have to
convert them to wave files (with extension .wav). Make sure
they are stereo channel and 16 bit, while the bitrate can vary.
Not that the program won't load the song if it is too big in
size, so convert it to the lowest bitrate possible and work
your way up to a higher bitrate testing to see if it loads
in the game. The files music1.wav, music2.wav, music3.wav and music4.wav
are the song files. The rest are sound effects.

Adding your own pictures
------------------------

It is possible to have your own pictures in the background.
Just take any picture and save it as a bitmap file in 32bit-XRGB
format. Note that you need to flip your picture vertically
before you save, as the pixel lines are stored in reverse.
