This document provides information for porting the K Virtual Machine (KVM), version 1.0.4, to a new platform. KVM is a Java Virtual Machine implementation that is commonly used as the execution engine for J2ME CLDC (Java™ 2 Micro Edition, Connected Limited Device Configuration.)
This document is intended primarily to those individuals and companies who want to port Sun’s reference implementation of the K Virtual Machine to a new platform. The document is useful also to those persons who want to learn more about the internal details of the KVM.
