
GNU Chess was written in 1986 by Stuart Cracraft, who
is continuing to develop it with other coders.  It
comes with an interface to the X window system to
display a pretty chessboard.  It also has an opening
book which is being added to all the time.

PSP Gnu Chess is a port on PSP of the version 5.7 of
GNU-Chess.

Controls
------------

- Virtual keyboard

In the chess menu, press Start to open/close the
On-Screen Keyboard of "Danzel" and "Jeff Chen"

Use Analog stick to choose one of the 9 squares, and
use Triangle, Square, Cross and Circle to choose one
of the 4 letters of the highlighted square.

You can use this keyboard to specify game filename.

  Cross       Valid 
  Square      Undo
 
  Cursor      Move on the board
  Analog      Move on the board
 
  Select      Menu

- Game Control

In the game window you have the following mapping :

  Cross       Valid 

  Square      Undo
 
  Cursor      Move on the board
  Analog      Move on the board
 
  Select      Menu

- IR keyboard

You can also use IR keyboard. Edit the pspirkeyb.ini
file to specify your IR keyboard model, and modify
eventually layout keyboard files in the keymap
directory.
