	   -PSPKick V2.00 Installation Guide-

Before we begin with the instructions, you need to be aware
that, as of this writing, PSPKick and no other homebrew apps
and games can run on a PSP with a firmware higher than 1.5.
We are very sorry if this includes you and would like to
point out that if we could get it working on any other
firmware, we definitely would. There IS a downgrader though
to allow you to bring your 2.0 down to 1.5 if you are so
inclined. I'm afraid that Sony has been patching the firmware
since 1.5 in hopes to stop game piracy. The exploit in which
people can play pirated games also happens to be the same
method that developers, such as ourselves, have to use in
order to create games for the PSP. We hope that one day Sony
will somehow come up with a feasable manner in which to allow
developers to continue to bring all of you innovative and fun
games and apps.

So how do you check your PSP's firmware?
1) Turn on your PSP.
2) Goto the 'Settings' menu all the way to the left.
3) Scroll down to 'System Settings' and press 'X'.
4) Scroll down to 'System Information' and press 'X'.
5) Note the 'System Software' version number shown. This is
   your firmware number.

So you have 1.0 or 1.5 firmware?
1) Turn on your PSP.
2) Connect the PSP memory stick to your computer by any number
of methods (USB cable, card reader, FTP, etc..). If you
aren't sure how to do this, please check in the PSP manual.
3) If you have firmware 1.5:
	a) Copy the two folders found in this zip file to the
'GAME' folder on your PSP's memory stick. The
'GAME' folder can be found in the 'PSP' folder
from the root directory of the PSP.
   If you have firmware 1.0:
	a) Copy the folder named 'PSPKick2.0' found in this zip
file to the 'GAME' folder on your PSP's memory stick.
The 'GAME' folder can be found in the 'PSP' folder
from the root directory of the PSP.
	b) Copy the file 'EBOOT.PBP' found in this zip file to
the 'PSPKick2.0' folder on your PSP's memory stick (that
you copied over in the last step).
4) Restart your PSP (this is not imperative, but helps).
5) Goto the 'Game' menu all the way to the right.
6) Scroll down to 'Memory Stick' and hit 'X'.
7) Scroll down to the PSPKick icon and hit 'X'. *
8) Enjoy the newest release!
