Description:
Any homebrew coding competition brings a lot of good things to the community. For one, it gives users several good quality games that can be played on their PlayStation Portable (PSP) units. There are other reasons we can think of but the most important one is that these events serve as venues where coders can showcase their talents.
Take for example the case of NeoFlash's Spring Coding Competition. In case you are not aware, the event is currently on-going and will end on March 20. We have seen a few of the entries already, with each one belonging to different genre. For this one, we would like to feature Bumper Car Mayhem.
We guess we've all ridden bumper cars when we were younger. So this homebrew from coder Fuzzie 360 will defintely invoke a lot of childhood memories from all of us - the speed, the impact, the laughter. Everything. Before we get too sentimental here, take note that the objective of Bumper Car Mayhem is to drive in a full rotation isometric world and smash the opponent to win.
Fuzzie 360 provided a link to an online flash game that is, well, not representative of the PSP homebrew game. But for those who want to see it, the Read link should take you there. As for handheld users, the controls are as follows:
* X = Accelerate
* [] = Reverse/Brakes
* + = Steer
* L = Fire
