Description:
Freshmilk has just tipped us off about his latest homebrew game for the PSP, and as you can probably guess from the title it isn't TTR! He's taken a little bit of a break since Table Top Rally v1.0 was released and has been coding (in LUA) his latest invention titled Capture the Flag v0.1. This game comes in EBOOT form so there's no need for luaplayer so don't immediately switch off. The title is pretty self-explanatory but here's what Freshmilk said: The objective is very simple; snatch the enemie's flag and make it back to you own base, without touching anyone [enemies] on the way.
The first levels are very easy as the enemies are pretty slow and you can get around them easily. However, as you progress through the levels the enemies get faster and you'll have to think of new strategies to get past them so first commenters may want to stay away from this game, as you might be forced to think! This is the first release and therefore not everything is peachy. At the moment the arrows cannot hurt you and are pretty intermittant in appearance, but the levels are still pretty difficult. The graphics have been painstakingly created in MS Paint, so they might not be up to the standard of the flashy TTR just yet, but expect more updates in the future.
This game is really fun to play, especially if you're going on a long journey and have nothing else to do. Test your family members and friends and be sure to leave feedback in the forum release thread. Your suggestions might even make the next release!
