Description:
I present to you NARG, or Not Another Roleplaying game. The TreGe-Soft team are working on making an RPG game for the PSP that aims to fix the problems with modern roleplaying games by making their own. NARG is in the initial stages of development, and currently only cosists of a scrolling map, and a minimalist menu interface. Now please, don't flame this just because it's a proof of concept.
Here's the reasons why this proof of concept has been release, directly from the mouth of the developers:
1) We want user input. Before we get too far into planning and coding, we want input from the people who are interested in playing, since we're making the game for you anyways.
2) We're looking to hire some people for the group. Sadly, we're only two slaving programmers, and don't have much expertise in other fields of game design. We need more people on the project so we can make something that everyone can enjoy. For specific positions, please see the 'team' section of our website.
TreGo-Soft also said that they'd "like to thank Chris C. for the article he wrote last Friday, it was a convienent and conicidental lead in. We share his sentiments regarding modern RPGs, and that's why we've decided to set out to do something about it."
If you are looking for a new homebrew game that will give you hours of fun, then don't download this. However, if your looking for a the basics of a decent RPG, and would like to aid the TreGe-Sioft development team in making this through user input, get it below.
